Many years ago now, Hamish Hamilton developed Pertex fabrics, to be used in conjunction with Fibre-pile, in the creation of what were the original “Double-P” or “Buffalo” jackets – garments well known for their protection against wet and windy weather. Originally woven by Perseverance Mills in the UK, Pertex fabrics are now owned and manufactured overseas.
The fabric wholesalers that I’ve used for decades are no longer permitted to sell fabrics under the Pertex label. I do however, have suitable fabric in stock to create garments of this nature. Please do use the Contact page if you require more information re. colours & weights.
